Do you like how creative I can get with my titles? I could lie to you and put a really enticing title but then the post wouldn't be about that at all, like, "Beyonce lip syncs and has wardrobe malfunctions during Superbowl!"
So something I am very excited about is that I have some classes starting where I work. As part as a wellness initiative they wanted to offer some classes that people could take either at lunch or right after work. I get to teach 2 of them! I'm going to teach a Training for your first 5k Class and a Boot Camp class. It was off to a rocky start because these classes were supposed to start about a month ago but due to some technical glitches they weren't able to start us until this week. I hope people didn't give up on us and show up!
I'm also taking another photography workshop and had to get up at the
crack of dawn over the weekend to get the good lighting for some outdoor
photos so I thought I'm already up and out so why not hike too. It was
great getting to see the Bosque trails early in the morning with geese
and hot air balloons. There was also an unidentified dead animal
hanging from a tree that I was afraid to get to close to so I couldn't
tell what it was, do they have badgers in NM?
What is your favorite boot camp exercise move? Yes,
I believe there will be burpees! I will of course have modifications
for everything because I want people of all levels to feel comfortable
in this class.
If you were about to start training for your 1st 5k what is a tip you wish someone had given you?
Happy Monday and Happy Training!

I really like the photographs, nice work
5k tip? I wont say it will be easy, I will say it will be worth it.
Nice pics... Do you do this for a living? :)
Gonna have to say favorite military exercise is "8 count body builders"
Nice pics - where's the one of the dead animal??
Ah, the pictures are awesome! You have a very gifted eye for seeing what most of us don't. Well done!!
So cool about the 5k class you're teaching. I hope it's a huge success and one thing I say to the girls I coach at Girls on the Run is that: if you can run a 5k, you can do anything you set your sights on.
Nice pis! Some of them remind me of when I would watch the balloon races in New Mexico.
5K tips, hmmm, I would say (or better yet repeat) how the Asians train. They don't stop when they get tired, they walk it out till the end to get their mileage in. I've always remembered that when training.
